Is Invincible Season 2 coming in 2022?
We’re all waiting for a lot of Amazon shows to return. Invincible is one of them. Will Invincible Season 2 air new episodes in 2022?
When Invincible premiered, I don’t think anyone really expected the response it got. We knew it would be enjoyable, but there was something about it that really connected with audiences of both the comics and just those watching the show.
It was no surprise when Prime Video renewed the series for a second season. We were pleasantly surprised by a two-season renewal, meaning there are a lot more stories to tell. The question now is when those stories will arrive.
Invincible Season 2 may not arrive in 2022
We have a little bit of bad news about the series. There is a chance that Invincible Season 2 won’t arrive until 2023.
Steven Yeun told Collider that work on the series hadn’t even begun yet. That is the voice filming work. We know Robert Kirkman is likely working on the storylines for the second season, but the actors having been pulled in for work just yet.
Animated shows can see most of their work done at home. So, we know that any problems with the pandemic won’t be an issue. However, animated shows take a lot of time to create. There’s a chance that there won’t be enough time to get through it all. There isn’t even a set date for the actors to be pulled in for work!
Will Invincible Season 2 be released weekly?
We’re seeing more and more Amazon shows get a hybrid release format. Invincible was one of them for its first season.
Arguably, this method of release is working. Amazon wouldn’t keep opting for it if that wasn’t the case. So, we’re expecting the same type of release format for Invincible Season 2. We’ll likely get the first three episodes and then the remaining five released on a weekly basis.
