The Wilds Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in February 2022

There are a few shows that we’re still waiting for updates on. The Wilds Season 2 is one of those shows, but we’re still pretty in the dark about it.

We had hoped to have some sort of news right now. However, we come with the bad news that The Wilds Season 2 is not arriving in February 2022. We double-checked the list just in case it was a surprise addition to the list.

If we’re honest, we’re not all that surprised. If this show was arriving in the new month, we’d have heard something about that by now. It’s the most successful YA series on Prime Video, and with Prime Video wanting to break into that market, it’s going to make a lot of noise about this series.

The Wilds Season 2 release date predictions on Prime Video

When can we expect the season? That’s hard to say right now. The series has wrapped production, so it is in the post-production stage right now.

This is great news. We are one step closer to getting the new season on Prime Video. However, this stage can also take months to complete. While the series isn’t a fantasy one with a lot of magical effects needed, it will still need some visual effects for the likes of missing limbs.

So, when can we expect the season? It’s too hard to predict right now. We had hoped that we’d have something by this weekend. The Wilds Twitter shared a photo with the caption “wake me up when friday’s (SIC) here” and many of us hoped that meant some sort of announcement of a release date. That didn’t happen.

We’re potentially looking at spring or summer 2022 at the earliest for the season due to the post-production work. We also have to remember Amazon needs to space out its content that will arrive this year due to the delays in filming in 2020 meaning a lack of content for much of 2021.
