The Wilds Season 2 release date, cast, trailer, synopsis, and more

The Wilds Season 2 is officially happening, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the teenage girls next. Here’s what we know so far.

The great news is that we’ll get some answers to the big questions left over at the end of The Wilds Season 1. The bad news is we don’t have a lot of information to work with at the time of writing this.

That’s okay; this will become a hub with updates coming as they happen. Once a trailer has dropped or more casting is announced, we’ll be sure to update the post.

For now, this is what we know about The Wilds Season 2.

The Wilds Season 2 release date

We’ll start by saying there isn’t a release date for the season just yet. That’s not surprising considering pre-production work has only just started. Filming hasn’t begun yet and that plus the post-production work can take a year.

We may get the second season at the end of 2021, as it’s usually about 14 months between seasons for most Amazon Originals. We could look at November 2021. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we know.

The Wilds Season 2 cast

We’re expecting all eight of the teenage girls to return. That means we’ll see Sophia Ali, Shannon Berry, Jenna Clause, Reign Edwards, Mia Healey, Helena Howard, Erana James, and Sarah Pidgeon return

That’s despite the possibility that two of the teenagers died on the island. We need to see the rest of the storyline after the shark attack.

Rachel Griffiths, Barbara Eve Harris, Troy Winbush, and Jarred Blakiston will also likely return to the series. We may also see some of the boys from the Twilight of Adam program turn up.

The Wilds Season 2 trailer

There isn’t a trailer just yet. That’s not surprising considering episodes haven’t been filmed yet.

We’ll likely get a trailer about a month before the premiere date.

The Wilds Season 2 synopsis

Likewise, there is no synopsis yet.

The season will continue the story of the teenage girls still going through the Dawn of Eve experiment. They may be off the island, but there are still plenty of questions about the events while they were there.

And there are a lot of questions surrounding the Twilight of Adam program and what will happen when the teenagers learn the truth.
