How many episodes are in Upload Season 2?

Upload Season 2 finally has a premiere date on Prime Video. How many episodes will air, and will they air weekly or as a binge-watch?

It didn’t take long after the first season for Upload to land a second season. We’ve just had to wait a fair while for that second season. Filming was delayed due to the pandemic, and there was a lot of post-production work needed to make sure the series was ready.

The great news is we know Upload Season 2 will premiere on Friday, March 11. Prime Video has been moving into a weekly release format for a lot of shows, but don’t expect that to happen with this series. Fans will get to binge-watch the entire season just like they could with the first season.

You’ll still want to know the episode count, though. After all, you need to know how long it’s going to take to get through the season.

Upload Season 2 will have seven episodes. This is shorter than the first season, which had 10 episodes to it. It didn’t feel like there were enough episodes the first time, so it’s going to be interesting to see if everything can fit in well into seven episodes. At least this isn’t a final season like The Expanse, and we don’t think this show is going to be canceled after Season 2.

Global Prime Video shows tend to drop early in the United States. There’s a good chance we’ll get the episodes on Thursday, March 10. This will mean you can easily get through all seven episodes before the weekend has even started.

The episodes tend to be around 30 to 40 minutes long instead of the hour-long episodes that most dramedies are on the streamer.
