As We See It is going to be a series you want to check out. In fact, it’s a must-watch whether you know someone on the autism spectrum or not. There are certainly things you’ll learn while enjoying the entertainment element of the story.

What is As We See It about?

The new Prime Video series follows three roommates. They’re all on the autism spectrum. And it is a spectrum. All three have different fears, goals, and needs.

They all have one thing in common, though. They want to thrive in a world that isn’t quite ready for them. That means getting (and keeping!) a job, finding love, managing other types of relationships, and even just navigating the big and scary world.

They have support around them. For some it’s family, for others it’s friends. They all have people to celebrate their achievements while helping with some of the scariest or more disappointing elements in life.

This isn’t a series that makes fun of people on the autism spectrum. There are some moments you’ll laugh at, but it’s also going to give you a chance to see the world from the eyes of those who are neurodivergent.

What’s really great is that all three actors are also on the spectrum. This is so important to bring diversity and inclusivity to our screens.
