Jack Ryan Season 3 is not coming to Amazon in January 2022

We’re patiently waiting for the return of a lot of Amazon shows. Jack Ryan Season 3 is one of the shows on our radar, but the wait for it continues.

When the new listings on Amazon come out, we always look for some of our favorites to see if they’re being added to the list. Jack Ryan is one of the shows we look out for, but we have some bad news.

After double-checking and triple-checking the list, Jack Ryan Season 3 is not on the list of January 2022 releases. In a way, this news isn’t all that surprising, but it is disappointing. We want more Jack Ryan already!

Jack Ryan Season 3 release date predictions

Amazon has still not confirmed when we will get the third season of the action series. John Krasinski previously hinted on an Instagram story that it would arrive sometime in the second quarter of 2022.

This release timeframe makes a lot of sense. Filming reportedly wrapped sometime in mid-October 2021. It would take about six months at least for post-production, which would take us to April. A May or June 2022 release wouldn’t be all that surprising.

A lot of Amazon shows have wrapped filming around the same time because they all started filming around the same time due to the pandemic. We’re potentially going to see a lot of shows ready in the spring and summer of this year, and Amazon will then need to find a way to space out the content without delaying seasons too much.

The good news is there hopefully won’t be a delay for Jack Ryan Season 4. We already know that it is happening, getting the renewal in October after Season 3 reportedly wrapped filming.
