Will With Love Season 2 come to Amazon Prime Video in 2022?

There is always the idea of “happily ever after” within TV shows. That’s not something With Love offered. It focused on the work needed for relationships. And I’ll admit that I adored Gladys’s focus on being single and enjoying life!
We don’t yet know if Amazon is going to renew the series. A decision hasn’t been made at the time of writing this, but we’re hoping that it’s going to be good news. A show like this deserves a second season.
If With Love Season 2 does happen, when can we expect it? Is there a chance that it will arrive sometime in 2022?
With Love Season 2 could happen in 2022
It usually takes 14 to 18 months between seasons on Amazon. However, that’s when the seasons are eight to 10 episodes long. It has been possible for eight-episode seasons to arrive within 12 months.
If this was going to be the case, we’d say a 2022 release date is impossible. The series came with just five episodes in the first season, and we’re expecting something similar for Season 2. So, that would cut out a good chunk of filming time, allowing a 2022 release date to be possible.
Will With Love Season 2 be a binge-watch?
Amazon Prime Video could change up its release format. It’s been opting for hybrid releases recently, but the first season of With Love arrived as a binge-watch. This could be because this type of show worked so well as a binge-watch, but it could also be because the streamer worried a weekly release would be too much of a risk. It could have also been strategic for the time of year, especially with The Wheel of Time and The Expanse coming out weekly.
It’s hard to say what Amazon Prime Video will do in the future. Is it possible that everything moves to a hybrid release? Probably not. It’s going to be on a case-by-case basis, and we’ll have to look out for what’s going to happen for With Love Season 2.
