Carnival Row Season 2 is not coming to Amazon in January 2022

If there’s one show Amazon is staying very quiet about, it’s Carnival Row Season 2. Just when will the new season release on Amazon Prime Video?

There are a few Amazon shows we’re still waiting to hear something about. Carnival Row is one of them.

We’ve double-checked the list of new releases coming in January 2022. Sadly, Carnival Row Season 2 wasn’t on the list. While we weren’t exactly expecting it, we would love a surprise addition right now.

Carnival Row Season 2 release date predictions

We still have absolutely no idea of when the season could premiere. There is some good news in that filming has finished. This allows for the series get into the post-production.

Post is going to take a few months, though. This is a series full of visual effects, especially as we see more of the fae in the second season. We want the effects to look as good as possible, and that means being patient on the new season.

We will see it sometime in 2022. There’s just no need now for the show not to come back in the new year at some point. We’re just not in a positive to predict when.

Will Carnival Row release as a binge-watch?

We’ve seen Amazon Prime Video change the way it’s releasing a lot of its shows. Many of them are now coming as a weekly or hybrid release. It all started with The Boys‘s success, and we’ve seen it with The Expanse, The Wheel of Time, and more.

Could we see it happen with Carnival Row Season 2? This is certainly something to be ready for. After all, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 is getting a hybrid weekly release format for the first time ever. It looks like Amazon is seeing a good enough success with big shows and is moving into this release format for many others.
