There’s no doubt that we’ve been excited to see the second Yearly Departed special. After all, this year has been just as bad as 2020, and there’s a lot that we’ve mourned that we wouldn’t usually consider possible.

We get a new set of female comedians bringing their hilarious eulogies this time around. The great Jane Fonda is one of those who will turn up in style to bring her goodbyes, but what about the others?

Yvonne Orji from Insecure will host the event. Chelsea Peretti, Dulcé Sloan, and more will take to the podium. This time we don’t have a surprise musical guest. Alessia Cara will deliver the great send-off.

Now you just need to know when the special will arrive. It’s on Amazon Prime Video tonight, Thursday, Dec. 23. The official release time is midnight GMT.

This is a global original, which is great for those in North America. There’s a very good chance that the show will arrive at around 7  p.m. ET tonight, Wednesday, Dec. 22. This has been the case for other global Amazon Originals, including The Wheel of Time and The Expanse. If the biggest releases of the year drop early, there’s no doubt we should see this release drop early.

If the special hasn’t arrived early, it will drop by midnight local. It’s going to be more than worth staying up to watch.
