The first full week of December brought a little change to the list of most read Amazon books. A new The Expanse book made it to the list.

We do need to start with the entry of Leviathan Falls by James S. A. Corey. It’s the ninth book in The Expanse series, so this addition isn’t just because The Expanse Season 6 has premiered on Amazon Prime Video.

This is the newest book in the series. It takes place after the events of the eighth book. Don’t expect to see it adapted in the current TV show, which ends after the current sixth season. However, there is always the potential for something more in the future.

The Wheel of Time Book 2 enters, Outlander Book 9 holds the top spot

After entering in the top spot last weekGo Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon continues to hold it this week. This isn’t surprising. Fans around the world have waited seven years for the ninth Outlander book.

The list also saw the first The Wheel of Time book, titled Eye of the World by Robert Jordan, remain in third place after climbing. The second book, The Great Hunt, has now entered the list. With the second season confirmed and filming, it’s not surprising that fans are moving onto the second book now.

The biggest mover on the list was Michael Connelly’s The Dark Hours. It dropped four spots to land in 15th place. Mercy by David Baldacci lost three places and holds onto 18th place last week.
