As expected, the latest Outlander book, Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, soared to the top of the list of most read Amazon books last week.

We knew the release of the ninth Outlander book was going to be popular among the fans. The book was released on Tuesday, Nov. 23, so we had to wait until this week to see how it performed. As expected, it entered the most read Amazon books list high.

Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon entered in first place on the list, knocking Dune by Frank Herbert down a spot. We’re expecting it to stay at the top for a while considering just how highly anticipated it was.

It wasn’t the only new book on the list. The Becoming by Nora Roberts entered the list in 19th place.

The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan moves up

There was also plenty of movement among books on the list. The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan is certainly worthy of a mention. It gained the most spots on the list last week, moving up six places to get into third place. This isn’t all too surprising with The Wheel of Time now firmly in its first season.

Better of Dead by Lee CHild and Andrew Child and The Juge’s List by John Grisham both lost the most places during the week. They lost four places each, with Better Off Dead almost off the list entirely.

The Dark Hours by Michael Connelly and The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave lost three places each. The latter is now in 20th place, but can it hold on for another week?
