Jack Ryan Season 3 is not coming to Amazon in December 2021

As we get into the last month of the year, we’re disappointed to learn that Jack Ryan Season 3 isn’t on the list of new arrivals. How long will we need to wait for it?

We’ve double- and triple-checked the list of new releases on Amazon in December hoping for a Christmas miracle. It’s not happened, though. Jack Ryan Season 3 is definitely not on the list.

This isn’t all too surprising, though. We’ve heard very little about filming, but we have heard of actors cast in the season and some characters returning, and we know that Jack Ryan Season 4 is going to happen.

According to some reports, Jack Ryan Season 3 filming has finished. The show is now in the post-production stage.

Jack Ryan Season 3 release date predictions

We’re looking at 2022 for the release of the season. There’s little need to delay the show to 2023, especially if production has wrapped on the series. After all, the creators will want to get straight into Season 4 to prevent a lengthy delay between seasons again.

It’s not the show’s fault, though. COVID-19 halted production twice. There was nothing the series could have done differently, especially the first time when the world shut down completely.

When in 2022, though? We’re potentially looking at late spring right now. We don’t know when production wrapped. We could say it wrapped sometime in October 2021 as that’s when the fourth season renewal came in. A show like this will take about six months in post-production, and that takes us to April 2022 as a release date.

Amazon is going to need to space out the release dates of shows. There are a lot of shows wrapping filming and post-production at the same time. This is going to lead to a lot of shows being ready to release new seasons at the same time, but Amazon won’t want to bring everything at once. Spacing out the content throughout the year is going to be essential to keep subscribers.
