A new week is here, but there isn’t that much movement on the list of most read Amazon books last week. There’s only one new entry.

The only new addition to the list last week was Michael Connelly’s new novel The Dark Hours. It’s another novel in the universe of Renée Ballard and Harry Bosch, and we’re certainly not surprised that it’s already on the list.

We know how popular Bosch is as a show. A lot of that came from how well the books were adapted, with Connelly there to help with that adaptation. And we’re excited for the spin-off coming to IMDb TV in the future.

It did only land in 12th place, though. We’re expecting to see it move up the list during the new week.

Game on moves up, The Eye of the World moves down

The top of the list of most read Amazon books remained relatively unchanged. The rest of the list is where there was some movement of books between themselves.

Game On by Janet Evanovich saw the biggest movement up, gaining three places but still just narrowly missing out on the Top 15. There is a chance it will get in there next week.

State of Terror by Louise Penny and Hillary Rodham Clinton and Reaper by Will Wight saw the biggest drops. Both lost four places, with the former just holding onto a place on the list.

There is one other notable drop. The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan moved one spot down. With the first three episodes of The Wheel of Time now available to stream, that is surprising. However, the story from the books has been adapted considerably for the show, which may have something to do with it.
