The Wheel of Time is coming to Amazon tonight
We’re so very close to watching the first three episodes of The Wheel of Time Season 1. The episodes arrive on Amazon Prime Video tonight.
Midnight. That’s the official time.
Well, the official time is actually midnight GMT. This usually means that time zones work in our favor. There’s no guarantee, but there is a good chance that the first three episodes of The Wheel of Time will drop at around 7 p.m. ET tonight, Thursday, Nov. 18.
If the episodes aren’t available right away, keep checking in. They will be there by midnight local on Friday, Nov. 19.
What to expect on The Wheel of Time Season 1
It is only the first three episodes coming tonight, but there are eight episodes in total. The Wheel of Time is getting a hybrid release. After this, the episodes will arrive Fridays until Dec. 24. While this is disappointing for those who like to binge-watch, it’s much better for the future of the shows. The series will remain in the public eye for longer, and the hard work that hundreds of people put into this show is appreciated more.
The first season follows the first Robert Jordan book, The Eye of the World. We’re introduced to the various main characters throughout this epic fantasy series.
One of those main characters is Aes Sedai member Moiraine. The Aes Sedai is a powerful organization made up of women who can use magic. Moiraine takes a group of five young people on a journey across countries, and she’s sure that one of them is the reincarnation of the Dragon. The Dragon is prophesied to be either the end of the world or the one who will save it.
The promo is a great look at what to expect, but it doesn’t quite do the whole series justice. You need to watch the first three episodes and I promise you, you’ll be hooked.
