It’s almost time for the series we’ve all been waiting for. The Wheel of Time is coming at the end of the week, but what time is it released on Amazon Prime Video?

Friday, Nov. 19. That’s the date we’ve been patiently waiting for. It’s almost here, and that means we get to watch the first three episodes of The Wheel of Time.

Sadly for those who love to binge-watch, this is getting the hybrid release format. Three episodes will arrive this week, and then we’ll get each episode weekly after that. The finale is set to come out on Friday, Dec. 24. It’s the perfect Christmas Eve gift.

But what time can you start watching the series on Amazon Prime Video? Is it something to stay up for?

The Wheel of Time release time on Amazon Prime Video

The official release time for this Amazon series is midnight GMT. This is a global original, and that means some great news for us.

There is the chance that we’ll see the episodes drop at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Thursday, Nov. 18 thanks to time zones. There isn’t a guarantee of this happening, but it has happened more often than not.

Make sure you check in the title itself. The titles don’t always pop up on the home screen until the following day, so you need to search for it and physically go into the title to see if the episodes have been released. If they haven’t, they will do by midnight local but usually, you’ll see them earlier.

With three episodes, even dropping at midnight, you can probably get away with staying up to watch them. After all, don’t a lot of people stay up until 3 a.m. to watch Netflix shows?
