Another month is here, and Amazon Prime Video is finally getting a lot of fresh original content. It means plenty of TV shows on Amazon to watch.

It has been a quiet year for Amazon Prime Video. With the delays in production throughout 2020 because of the pandemic, streaming platforms were hit with a lack of content during 2021. However, things have picked back up, and we’re starting to see more content arriving.

November is packed with new releases on Amazon Prime Video. There are 12 Amazon Originals arriving, bringing a great mixture of TV shows and movies. Then there are the third-party releases. The full list can end up a bit overwhelming.

That’s why we look at the best movies and shows on Amazon arriving in any given month. Here are the top five releases this month.

5 must-watch TV shows on Amazon Prime Video in November 2021

The list is in release date order. After all, there’s no way that we can compare the different genres.

Native America

We start with one of the releases via the Amazon Channels samples. You’ve only got this month to check it out, so you’ll want to get started right away. There are only four episodes, so you’ll have time!

The PBS series looks into the history of the United States. Science, history, and living traditions are all bringing to life a world that was originally created by the Native Americans. Each episode looks into a different element of life in various parts of the country to understand the truth of the original people of the land.

Watch the show from Monday, Nov. 1.

Tampa Baes Season 1

The eight-episode docuseries looks into the young lesbian “it-crowd” of Florida. This group of loyal friends takes us on a journey of adventure and partying. Along the way, they battle the stereotypes and labels thrown their way.

They don’t always get along. However, that doesn’t mean they won’t have each others’ backs when there is a problem. If you love the likes of The Real Housewives but want it with actual friends and people who like each other, then you’ll want to check out this new series.

Check out the series from Friday, Nov. 5.

Always Jane Season 1

Another docuseries to check out is Always Jane. The four-part series follows Jane Noury, who lives with her family in rural New Jersey.

Jane is just a normal teenage girl. She has to navigate figuring out who she is, deal with high school drama, and focus on getting good grades. At the same time, she deals with life out in the sticks.

Watch the four-part series from Friday, Nov. 12.

The Wheel of Time Season 1

One of the biggest TV shows on Amazon in November has to be The Wheel of Time. This has been highly anticipated ever since its announcement in 2019. There’s no doubt that it’s on the list of shows to watch immediately.

The series follows the first book in the Robert Jordan fantasy series. We meet Moiraine, a member of Aes Sedai, who heads to Two Rivers on an epic but dangerous journey. Three episodes drop at once on Friday, Nov. 19, with episodes releasing weekly after that.

Hanna Season 3

Finally, it’s all about the third season of another epic tale. Hanna Season 3 picks up after the events of the second season, with Hanna and Marissa now working together to bring down Utrax.

They’re about to learn the full truth about Utrax, including the person behind it all. Will it halt them in their tracks, or will they continue to fight against the secretive agency?

Watch all episodes on Wednesday, Nov. 24.
