What secret is Bruce hiding in I know What You Did Last Summer?

Bruce has a secret on I Know What You Did Last Summer. Lennon knew it and was angry about it. What exactly could it be, and does it link to the killings?

There are definitely a lot of secrets on I Know What You Did Last Summer. Bruce did seem a bit too happy about the idea of getting Allison to pretend she’s Lennon. It’s clear that he’s been hiding secrets before because it all came so naturally to him.

Well, it turns out that he started to drive Lennon home the night she was killed. When she got angry about a secret he was keeping, he stopped the car and she got out. He just left her out there at night, which finally explains how she was in the middle of nowhere that night when she was hit.

However, it’s clear that there’s some sort of big secret that would upset his children. It had already upset Lennon, and she made it clear it would upset Allison, too.

What is Bruce’s secret on I Know What You Did Last Summer?

We have to figure out what the secret it. At first, it would seem like something linked to the mom. We knew from the start of I Know What You Did Last Summer that the twins’ mom had died by suicide. For a while, it looked like the secret may have been linked to that death not being like that after all.

There were moments that it looked like Clara could be far more connected to the twins than we initially thought. However, when she slammed the door, Lennon made it clear that their mom took the best way out to get away from Bruce.

So, it’s not the mom (although it is still possible that their mom wasn’t their biological mom). This is something else.

Could it be that Lennon simply found out that Bruce was with Lyla? Considering we’ve already found out about that, it doesn’t seem possible.

So, what about the business failing? Well, it wouldn’t still be going if that was the case. Loan sharks? Some other dodgy business?

Whatever it was, Lennon seemed more than happy to let the secret come out but her death prevented that. It’s got to eventually come out, though, right?
