Upload Season 2 is not coming to Amazon in October 2021

Upload Season 2 is one of the big Amazon releases we’re still waiting for. It’s not on the list of October releases but when will it come to Amazon?

We’re all waiting for Upload Season 2. It’s one of the Amazon shows that we just can’t get enough of. The series brings us an excellent mixture of comedy and drama, while adding an intriguing premise of a digital afterlife.

With the way things ended in the first season finale, there’s no doubt we need more. The great news is we’re getting a second season. The bad news is that it’s not coming in October 2021. We never really expected it to arrive this month, but we double-checked the full list of releases just in case.

When will Upload Season 2 come to Amazon Prime Video?

Amazon hasn’t shared when the series will arrive on the streamer just yet. Filming has finished and the show is currently going through post-production, but it looks like there’s still a wait on our hands.

This is a show that requires a fair bit of CGI and effects. That means post-production can take months to complete, and the last we heard, Upload Season 2 may not even arrive in 2021 at all. We had hoped the show would arrive before the end of the year with the filming completion date, but the post-production stage is just taking so long.

We’re looking at early 2022 at the moment. While there are a few Amazon shows at NYCC 2021 this weekend, there are no signs of Upload being one of them. We had hoped that we’d get a premiere date for the series during the weekend. We’ll just have to keep waiting for now.
