Midnight Mass is one of the TV shows you’re likely going to watch for Halloween 2021. Can you watch the horror series on Amazon Prime Video?

There are a few great horror TV shows to check out this Halloween. One of the newest on the list is Midnight Mass.

The series comes from The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan. There are plenty of actors you’ll recognize, including Kate Siegel. The series follows a mysterious new priest who roles into a small island town and strange things start to happen.

Now you’ll want to know where you’re watching the series online. Can you watch Midnight Mass on Amazon Prime Video?

Midnight Mass is not on Amazon Prime Video

There is going to be a lot of bad news. The series isn’t on Amazon Prime Video, and it’s not going to arrive on the streaming platform with your Prime membership. This is a Netflix series, and that’s the only streaming platform that you can get it.

With this in mind, it shouldn’t be that surprising to hear that the series isn’t on Amazon Video, either. Most Netflix shows do not get Digital or DVD releases. It doesn’t make sense for Netflix to allow its originals to head to Digital or even DVD. The aim is to keep content as exclusive to the platform as possible.

Of course, this does depend on the agreement with the production studios. We have seen Flanagan’s other shows like The Haunting of Hill House or The Haunting of Bly Manor head to Digital and DVD, so there is a chance we’ll see Midnight Mass get a similar treatment. This is likely a year after the show’s release, so we’re looking at September 2022.
