The new weekend is here, and it’s the first weekend after the start of a new month. What’s streaming on Amazon from Oct. 2 to 3, 2021?

This week has seen a bunch of new additions on Amazon Prime Video. What about the weekend? Is there anything new streaming on Amazon?

There’s only one new addition on Amazon Prime Video during the weekend itself. On Sunday, Oct. 3, you can stream Prometheus. The 2012 movie stars Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace and focuses on a group of explorers in the darkest corner of the universe. This group is looking for any clues of the origin of mankind. What they find is something beyond their wildest dreams.

Bingo Hell, Black as Night, Hightown, and more

If you’re looking for something else to watch, you’ll need to turn to the releases from Oct. 1. There’s a great selection with more than 60 titles joining the streaming platform.

There are some great old-school movies, but you’ll want to pay attention to some of the Amazon Originals. Bingo Hell and Black as Night are the two Welcome to Blumhouse movies now available to stream. They’re everything you’ve become used to when it comes to horror from Blumhouse Productions and are worth watching this weekend.

If you’re looking for a TV series, there are some Amazon Channels samples to check out. Hightown is the one on STARZ you’ll want to binge-watch. The second season premieres on Sunday, Oct. 17. It’s a powerful series focused on addiction, life, and trauma.
