The Wilds Season 2 is not coming to Amazon in October 2021
Another month will bring some great TV shows on Amazon Prime Video, but one of them is not going to be The Wilds Season 2. How long will we need to wait?
We’re not all that surprised that The Wilds Season 2 isn’t arriving in October. However, while we weren’t expecting it, it didn’t stop us from checking through the full list of arrivals during the month.
The series is still filming in Australia. We’re just not expecting it to arrive any time soon because of that fact.
The Wilds Season 2 release date predictions
We didn’t really think The Wilds Season 2 would arrive in October 2021. Even if the pandemic wasn’t causing problems, we’d be looking at November 2021 at the earliest for the season. However, the pandemic has caused filming delays.
It took some time for the show to start filming the second season. With filming still happening, it means we’re still waiting for the new season. It’s highly unlikely that we’ll get the season any time in 2021.
After the filming, there’s the post-production time. That shouldn’t take as long as the likes of Upload or The Boys, but there will still be some editing work required. We’d rather the team have plenty of time to do all the work and make it perfect than rush the work.
Of course, there are a lot of questions we want answered. When it comes to YA series, this one quickly gained our attention. It was a little like LOST meets Gossip Girl with a major mystery about what was going on with the plane crash to unravel. Now we have those answers, but we want to know all about the Twilight of Adam experiment.
