There’s a new Amazon Original Movie coming to the streaming platform. Birds of Paradise is coming to Amazon Prime Video tonight.

Amazon has stepped up its game when it comes to movies and TV shows, especially within the YA genre. Birds of Paradise is the latest addition coming to Amazon Prime Video, and you’re certainly not going to want to miss out.

The movie is a global original. Officially, the release date is Friday, Sept. 24, but that’s at midnight GMT. The time zones work in our favor.

There’s a great chance that Birds of Paradise will be available to stream from 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. This isn’t always the exact time of the drops, but they’re rough guides. Global Amazon Original content tends to drop earlier than the official date.

What is Birds of Paradise about?

The new movie brings the world of ballet to our screens again. Kate is a teenager who heads to a French ballet school on a scholarship. She’s already an outcast because of that, but what about when she proves herself to potentially be a better dancer than the best current dancer in the school?

There’s only one place at the biggest ballet company in France. Both of these teens are competing for it, and that leads to a fierce competition between them. However, can they also become friends while competing against each other? Is it ever possible to fully trust someone who wants the same thing you do?

We’re about to find out. The movie is a little like Black Swan. There’s a seductive element to it, although it doesn’t quite hit that mark. It’s certainly one that you’ll need to watch right away. With the potential 7 p.m. ET drop, there’s no need to stay up too late to stream it!
