Just like that, another season of Modern Love is out and you’re wanting more. Here’s what we know about Modern Love Season 3 so far.
Another eight episodes of Modern Love are now available. Like with the first season, we got eight mini-movies, all focused on different types of love in the present day. Not all episodes end with happiness or even closure, and that’s one of the great things about it. After all, not all love stories are happy ones.
Modern Love keeps things real. We need more just like this, which is why we’re hoping for Modern Love Season 3 to happen.
Right now, the show hasn’t been renewed. That doesn’t mean it won’t be. We are optimistic about this. Here’s what we know so far, with updates to come as they happen.
Modern Love Season 3 release date
There isn’t a release date just yet, and we’re not looking at Modern Love Season 3 coming in 2021. It takes 14 to 18 months for most Amazon shows to release new seasons, even with an early renewal.
It took longer than that between the first and second seasons of Modern Love, but that was due to the pandemic. We don’t have as many filming problems and delays due to the pandemic now, so there’s a great chance that we’ll see the release sometime around October 2022 if the show is renewed.
Modern Love Season 3 cast
We don’t have a cast list yet. Each episode focuses on different stories, and there have been different actors for each of the episodes throughout the first two seasons.
The great thing about the series is that it can allow new stars shine, while also giving us single episodes with big names who wouldn’t usually do a TV series. We’ll let you know when there is a confirmation about a cast list for the third season.

With the season not yet confirmed, it shouldn’t be surprising that there isn’t going to be a trailer just yet. This is likely to come about a month before the release date, so we’re looking at this time next year at the earliest.
Modern Love Season 3 synopsis
The series will follow the same format. Each episode is a 30-minute fictionalized story of articles from the New York Times column, and that’s the format for more seasons. The great thing is there are plenty of stories to tell; it’s all just whether the writers of the stories are willing to have their stories transformed into fictionalized retellings.
