We knew I Know What You Did Last Summer was coming in October, and now we have an official premiere date. There are even first-look images.

We’re certainly excited for the TV series based on the 1997 movie of the same name. With how great Scream worked out, there’s no doubt that we want to see I Know What You Did Last Summer.

The question has been when that would arrive. Would we get it in time for Halloween? Finding out that it was coming in October meant that we’d at least get it in time for Halloween, but would it be Halloween weekend?

TVLine reported the premiere date. Amazon is bringing the horror series on Friday, Oct. 15.  This is a series that is getting the hybrid model that a few shows have got recently. The first four episodes will drop on Oct. 15 and then the episodes will release weekly with the finale airing on Friday, Nov. 12.

The publication also revealed some first-look photos of the series. They give us just a snapshot of some of the things to come, setting up the initial story and the threat to the teenagers.

Madison Iseman is the lead actress on the series. She’s part of the group of friends who hit a man with their car and then have to decide what to do. They refuse to call the cops fearing for what will happen to them, so they cover up the accident.

A year later, the teenagers are attacked by someone who knows their secret. However, it turns out their small town is full of secrets. Now the group will need to figure out who is after them while uncovering the dark underbelly of the town.
