The release date for I Know What You Did Last Summer on Amazon is set. How long are we waiting, and what can we expect on the series?

There is a big thing at the moment about rebooting ’90s movies into TV shows. To be fair, the TV series reboot of Scream was great (and it really shouldn’t have been canceled), so we do have some high hopes for I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Based on the 1973 novel by Lois Duncan and the 1997 movie starring Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar, the series will follow a similar storyline. Will it be set within the movie universe? That’s something still to find out.

It’s likely to be around the middle of the month or possibly toward the end. Amazon often timed horror releases for Halloween.
