Annette is currently out in theaters, but you may not want to head there just yet. Will you be able to watch the musical comedy on Amazon?

There are a few movies hitting theaters this weekend. One of those is Annette starring Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard.

The two play a married couple who find their relationship changes after having their first child. However, this isn’t the typical way things change for parents. Their daughter has special abilities, which change everything.

You may not want to head to theaters for a movie just yet. And if you do, you may find this one isn’t playing in a theater near you. Where can you stream it online?

Annette is coming to Amazon Prime Video

Right now, the movie isn’t available to stream online. It is only in theaters, but that’s not the way it’s going to be.

Annette is coming to Amazon Prime Video. There isn’t long to wait for this release, either. It’s going to be on Amazon on Friday, Aug. 20.

It’s an Amazon Original movie. That means it’s remaining on the streaming platform for good. It’s very much like The Big Sick and Beautiful Boy. You’ll be able to watch the movie as often as you want with your Prime membership.

This could stop the movie heading to DVD and Blu-ray. Some Amazon movies have gone to physical disc, but many of them haven’t. It doesn’t make sense for Amazon to put movies on DVD and Blu-ray since it would take people from the platform, but we will keep an eye out for the release.

We’ll also not see the movie head to Amazon Video. It just doesn’t make sense for Amazon to do that.

Annette is currently out in theaters and is coming to Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Aug. 20.
