The Stand is currently available to stream on Paramount+, but you’ll soon be able to own it at home. The Stand DVD release date is set.

There were certainly some questions about whether The Stand needed to be redone. There were some benefits of the modern version thanks to diversity, but the 1990s miniseries continues to offer some of the best storytelling and brings Stephen King’s novel to full life.

One of the things the new series brought us was a coda. King wrote it himself as a chance to show us that the fight against evil hasn’t finished. However, it’s still debatable about whether it was needed or not.

Whatever you think, you may want to add the new version of The Stand to your collection. That means looking out for The Stand DVD release date.

When is The Stand DVD coming out?

You’ll be able to add the series to your own collection before Halloween. The Stand DVD release date is set for Tuesday, Oct. 5. It is available on both DVD and Blu-ray, depending on the format that you prefer.

You can pre-order The Stand on Amazon right now. With the pre-order, you land the price guarantee, which means you’ll pay whatever the lowest price is up to the release date. It doesn’t matter what price you confirm right now.

Can’t wait until October for it? Right now, there is only one way to watch the series. You can get it via Paramount+, which is available through Amazon Channels. All nine episodes of the limited series are available to stream right now.

There is a chance that it will come to Digital to buy around the time of the DVD release date. This isn’t certain, though. Why would a streaming service want to release its content on Digital to buy?
