Making the Cut Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video at the end of the week. What time can you start streaming the first episode?

The end of the week sees Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn back together once more. Making the Cut Season 2 premieres on Amazon Prime Video. Only the first two episodes will be available with the rest released weekly, copying the release format for the first season.

The series is a global release, which means it will drop at midnight GMT. New episodes will be released each week at the same time. It’s great news for those in North America thanks to time zones. In most cases, the episodes are released the day before. New episodes can drop at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on the Thursday nights.

We can’t guarantee the earlier releases. This is just the pattern we’ve noticed a lot with the global Amazon releases.

What is Making the Cut Season 2 about?

The new season follows the same format as the first season. Klum and Gunn host 12 designers as they face new challenges and assignments as a chance to prove their design skills and make it clear they have everything it takes to make it in the business.

In each episode, a contestant is eliminated. Only one can go home with the big prize.

All the judges from the first season are out. We’ll see some guest judges throughout the episodes, with America’s Next Top Model contestant Winnie Harlow and fashion designer Jeremy Scott taking over the episodic judging with the guests.

There’s no travel from city to city during this season, which is due to the pandemic. The series was filmed in 2020 in a bubble, and that means everything was in Los Angeles.
