Leverage: Redemption is coming to IMDb TV tonight

Are you ready to see the Hacker, the Grifter, the Hitter, and more to get back together? It’s been a while, but Leverage: Redemption is coming to IMDb TV tonight.

We’ve waited almost 10 years for this. The original series finished back in 2012, but the team is finally back together. Well, most of the team is finally back together. The majority of the original cast is returning, and there are going to be some new faces.

There isn’t much longer left to wait for the first eight episodes of the revival. Leverage: Redemption will be on IMDb TV tonight, Friday, July 9. IMDb TV shows tend to drop at midnight ET, so that’s what we’re working with here. The good news is you could get it at 9 p.m. PT on Thursday, July 8, so keep an eye out for it.

There are eight episodes all dropping at once. Another eight will arrive later in 2021.

What is Leverage: Redemption about?

The gang is back. The only character not returning at all is Nathan “Nate” Ford, called “The Mastermind.” The team will need a new leader, but who is going to take on that role?

Aldis Hodge will return as Alec Hardison, but he’s not going to be a series regular. Instead, there’s a new Hacker joining the team, and she has a direct connection to Hardison. The promo gives us a great introduction to her and that relationship.

The series is just like the original. The gang will team up to take down some of the biggest criminals and wastes of space in politics and business. It’s all about dealing with the injustices that others can’t. They’re there to help the little guy, and they’re going to have a lot of fun doing it.
