The Wilds Season 2 is not coming to Amazon in July 2021

If you were hoping to find out more about the Twilight of Adam this summer, you’ll be a little disappointed. The Wilds Season 2 isn’t coming yet.

We have so many questions for The Wilds Season 2. The good news is we’ll get some answers eventually. The second season is happening.

The bad news is we won’t get the answers yet. We’ve checked the list of Amazon arrivals in July twice just to make sure but The Wilds Season 2 wasn’t on the list. It is disappointing, but we know this is a show that is worth the wait.

Now the question for many is when the season will arrive. Can we even expect it in 2021?

The Wilds Season 2 release date

If we’re honest, we weren’t expecting The Wilds Season 2 to come out in July 2021. Even if the filming was as normal in 2020, we wouldn’t expect the season this summer. The first season didn’t arrive until September 2020. That would mean November 2021 would likely have been the earliest it would arrive.

That being said, things haven’t been normal when it comes to filming. Filming of this season didn’t start until early 2021, and that filming is still ongoing now.

It usually takes a year to get through filming and post-production for most shows. We’re looking at early 2022 at the release date for this show at the earliest. It’s something we’re keeping an eye on because this is one Amazon show we can’t wait for.

There are many questions after the first season. Each of the female characters were at turning points in their journeys and we didn’t get to find out what happened to all of them. And then we were left finding out that the Twilight of Adam experiment seemed to be going much smoother. We certainly need answers soon.
