Bosch is Amazon’s longest-running series to date. It was one of the first Amazon Originals, routinely being renewed due to the support for the series. Titus Welliver brings the character from Michael Connelly’s books to life.

Each season follows a standalone storyline. However, characters’ personal storylines end up crossing over between the seasons.

Sadly, Amazon has chosen not to renew the series. When the series was renewed for a seventh season, Amazon confirmed that it would be the final season of the series.

That being said, this isn’t the end of Titus Welliver as the titular character. An untitled spin-off has been ordered, and it will air on IMDb TV. We don’t know much about the spin-off, but we do know that Harry will be a part of it.

The spin-off isn’t a traditional spin-off. A spin-off is usually set in the same universe but following different characters. This spin-off is going to be a continuation of Harry’s story. The final episodes of Season 7 set up the new series. We just have no idea when it will arrive yet, but we’re probably looking at 2022 at the earliest.
