The Leverage team is back in action. Leverage: Redemption is coming in July 2021 on IMDb TV, and here’s everything we know so far.

The Hitter, the Hacker, the Grifter, and the Thief are back. It’s time to delve back into the world of Leverage, bringing plenty of feels from the original series. This is a revival, meaning most of the original cast is back in the roles they once played.

Leverage: Redemption will arrive in two parts. The first half of the season is coming very soon, but not on Amazon Prime Video. It’s on IMDb TV, Amazon’s free streaming service. It’s going to be a little like watching it on network TV with the ads popping up on the streamer.

What exactly do we know about the show so far? Here’s everything you need to know before the release.

Leverage: Redemption release date

The first eight episodes of Season 1 will arrive on Friday, July 9. All episodes will drop at once on IMDb TV.

There are 16 episodes in total. The second half of the season will drop sometime in the fall, but the release date isn’t confirmed just yet.

Leverage: Redemption cast

Some of the main cast of the original series is set to return. That includes:

  • Gina Bellman as Sophie Devereaux
  • Christian Kane as Eliot Spencer
  • Beth Riesgraf as Parker

Aldis Hodge will return as Alec Hardison but not as a series regular. He’s stepped down to a recurring role. However, there is another Hacker turning up. Aleyse Shannon will play Breanna Casey, a woman who grew up with the same foster mother as Hardinson. She’s not as good as Hardinson, but that doesn’t mean she can’t bring plenty to the team.

Finally, Noah Wyle will play Harry Sullivan. Not much is known about him, but the trailer gives us a look at his character.

Leverage: Redemption trailer

Speaking of a trailer, we do have one to share. It certainly sets the tone for the show.

Leverage: Redemption synopsis

The series follows a group of people who will do what they can to protect innocent people. This isn’t against traditional criminals but against the big corporations and government agencies set to destroy lives.

It’s all about heists, hacks, and more. Think of it a little more like Ocean’s Eleven meets The Equalizer.
