Is Elite on Amazon?

Elite is one of the best foreign-language teen dramas on TV right now. With Season 4 recently dropping, you’ll want to know if it’s on Amazon.

Elite Season 4 came out on Friday, June 18, and it continued the success of the first three seasons. Set in the fictional privileged school of Las Encinas, the fourth season saw the arrival of a new school director and his three children.

Naturally, there was plenty of drama. The show continued to tell the story over the course of two timelines giving us the lead up and slow-burn story of events that happened to one of the individuals. This time it wasn’t murder, but murder was certainly attempted.

Now you’ll want to know where to watch the series. Is it possible to stream it on Amazon Prime Video?

Elite is not on Amazon Prime Video

The bad news is that you can’t watch it through Amazon. Elite is only available to stream on Netflix, and that’s the way it will stay for a very long time. It’s a Netflix Original Series, and with so many streaming services out there, Netflix will want to keep as much as it can exclusive to its platform.

Of course, we never say “never.” Something could happen to Netflix in the future that forces it to merge with another streamer and that could bring the show to Amazon Prime Video. However, that’s not going to happen for some time.

But what about Amazon Video? After all, don’t some of the Netflix Originals arrive on Digital?

That can sometimes happen, but it’s not common for the foreign-language shows to head to DVD and Digital. It’s based on the contracts and the production studio, and usually, it’s the Warner Bros. shows that head to DVD and Digital.

We’re not expecting Elite Season 4 to come to DVD. The first three seasons haven’t headed to DVD or Digital, so there’s no reason to change that with the fourth season.

Elite is currently only available to stream on Netflix.
