Luca is the latest animated family movie for all to check out. The question is where to stream it. Is Luca on Amazon, and will it be on there in the future?

While there aren’t as many movies coming out this year as normal, there are still some great picks. For those looking for something for the whole family, Luca is a must-watch. It’s the latest from Disney Pixar, capturing much of the heart of Toy Story, Soul, and more.

Of course, now you need to know where to stream Luca online. Is it possible to watch on Amazon Prime Video?

If it’s not available right now, will you be able to watch it on Prime in the future? Here’s what we expect about the movie.

Luca is not on Amazon Prime Video

As of right now, the animated family movie is not on Amazon Prime Video. It’s only available on Disney Plus—and yes, it’s there without Premier Access. You can watch it with your current Disney Plus subscription.

That means it’s not coming to Amazon Prime Video. It’s highly unlikely that the movie will head to Prime Video as part of your membership any time in the near future. With so many streaming platforms, there’s no way Disney will want to release new movies on a different one.

That doesn’t mean it will never happen. We’d be looking at years down the line, though.

However, there will be ways to watch on Amazon in the future. Luca will come to Amazon Video on Digital. At least, that’s what we’re expecting. Soul was released directly on Disney Plus for all and made it to Digital to purchase three months later. We’re expecting something similar for this animated family movie.
