Panic Season 2 release date, cast, trailer, synopsis, and more

Panic is the latest YA series on Amazon Prime Video, and it did not disappoint. Now all eyes are on Panic Season 2, and here’s what we know so far.

Based on the book by Lauren Oliver, Panic is a series that sees teenagers face their fears. It’s all in the aim to win a life-changing amount of money, which is the only reason Heather gets involved in the first place.

For the most part, the series wrapped up the main storyline well. Of course, that doesn’t mean there isn’t an option for a second season if Amazon didn’t want it. Amazon is still yet to cancel or renew the series, but we’re hoping for some good news.

Panic Season 2 release date

With no confirmed season, there isn’t a release date just yet. Most Amazon shows take between 14 and 18 months between seasons under normal circumstances. The pandemic has caused a few problems here and there for filming, so it could delay things for this show once renewed. However, by the time the show is ready to film, things could be somewhat back to normal.

We’re probably looking at late summer to early fall 2022 for this show.

Panic Season 2 cast

It’s hard to say who will be involved in the series. Many of the characters moved on from the small town, getting to colleges far and wide. However, there are a few characters sticking around, which opens the door for them to be involved for the next game of Panic in the town.

The first season’s main cast involved:

• Olivia Welch as Heather Nill
• Mike Faist as Dodge Mason
• Jessica Sula as Natalie Williams
• Ray Nicholson as Ray Hall
• Camron Jones as Bishop Moore
• Enrique Murciano as Sheriff James Cortez

The only one out of the group that won’t return is Murciano since Cortez was killed off at the end of the season. Of course, he could return in flashbacks, but he won’t be a big part of the second season.

Panic Season 2 trailer

There isn’t a trailer out just yet, which isn’t surprising. The show hasn’t been renewed so filming hasn’t happened.

We won’t get a trailer until much closer to the premiere date. We’ll share it when it arrives.

Panic Season 2 synopsis

Could the second season be an anthology of sorts? It’s possible that the focus could be on the next group of high school graduates.

Another option is life after Panic, and maybe with some of the characters still wanting to be involved in the next games.
