It’s finally time to get Cruella de Vil’s origin story. The movie is on Disney Plus via Premier Access right now, but will it come to Amazon Prime Video?

As of right now, there’s only one place to stream Cruella online. It’s on Disney Plus, and you will need to get Premier Access to watch it. This access is a one-off payment to be able to watch the movie as much as you want once you have it. Eventually, it will be available for all Disney Plus subscribers.

However, as an Amazon Prime member, you want movies on your own streaming platform. You don’t want to get another one, and you certainly don’t want to add the extra cost on top of your streaming platform.

It is the origin story of one of the most underrated villains from Disney, so you’ll want to check it out. Is it going to come to Amazon Prime Video?

Cruella probably won’t stream on Amazon Prime Video

The bad news is that this movie is likely to stay on Disney Plus. It probably won’t come to Amazon Prime Video. If it does, it’s not going to be for quite a while.

We have seen the Disney movies head to other platforms before, even after Disney Plus arrived. STARZ gets a few of the movies, but they’re some of the older movies like Frozen. The newer releases haven’t headed to another streaming platform. There’s no reason for Disney to move content off its own streaming platform.

However, Cruella will be on Amazon Video in the future. You’ll be able to buy the movie on Digital if Mulan and Raya and the Last Dragon are anything to judge. The Digital release will happen about a month after the theatrical release, so we’re looking at around the end of June 2021.
