Stacey Abrams’s While Justice Sleeps was just one of the many new books to make it to the list of most sold Amazon books last week.

Yes, we are talking about the Stacey Abrams. She released the legal thriller on May 11, and it’s immediately entered the list of most sold Amazon books. This isn’t her first book, but it is the first since the Election, where she was a vocal supporter for Voter Rights.

The new novel follows a young law clerk called Avery Keene. She finds out her boss, Justice Howard Wynn, is in a coma and she is now his legal guardian and power of attorney. That leads her down a path of secrets and research Wynn was doing before his coma.

It was the highest of seven new books on the list of most sold books last week. Other new additions include That Summer by Jennifer Weiner and People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry.

Shadow and Bone books move down the list

With new additions, there was plenty of movement on the list of most sold Amazon books last week. Each of the Shadow and Bone books lost a spot throughout the week, with the last book in the series losing the most with three places.

There was a new book at the top of the list. Matching the list of most read Amazon books, Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary moved up into the top spot. The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave lost a spot and moved into second place.
