Just as expected, Leigh Bardugo’s novel Shadow and Bone entered the list of most sold Amazon books. It wasn’t the only one of her books.

I had a feeling the Shadow and Bone books would make their way to the list of most sold Amazon books. The Netflix series was an instant hit, and it usually leads to the books the shows are based on entering the list. We’ve seen it with BridgertonFirefly Lane, and more.

So far, two of Bardugo’s books are on the list. The first two books in the trilogy have made it into the Top 10, with Shadow and Bone getting into fourth place. The Crows duology hasn’t made it yet, but I think it might as readers realize that the Crows aren’t part of the main trilogy.

They weren’t the only new books on the list, either. In total, six books including the two Bardugo books, entered the list. Shadow and Bone wasn’t even the top book. David Baldacci’s A Gambling Man entered the list in second place.

A new book in the top spot

The list of sold Amazon books saw plenty of other change, too. The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L. Armentrout gained 13 places during the list to take over the top spot. The Four Winds had already been pushed into second place during the previous week due to Ocean Prey by John Sandford, but the Kristin Hannah novel dropped into third place during last week.

The ninth Outlander book, Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone dropped 13 places, landing in 16th place. I wouldn’t worry about this one just yet. The book is still only available through pre-orders and doesn’t come out until Nov. 23, 2021. We’ll likely see an uptick in sales at the end of the year so expect it to reenter.

Dog Man: Mothering Heights by Dav Pilkey lost a fair amount of spots, too. The children’s graphic novel dropped 11 places, landing in 19th place during the week.
