With the reshoots and changes to The Woman in the Window during the development stages, the movie was one of those that some were apprehensive about.

It doesn’t quite meet the standard of the cast involved. And that could lead to you not wanting to see it.

It’s hard to make a call on this one. The Woman in the Window was originally slated to head to theaters, but the reshoots caused delays and then the pandemic put things on hold. Netflix acquired the global rights.

The change to the rights could affect the release plans for the movie. However, as it was originally a 20th Century Studios movie, it could still get a DVD release.

Some Netflix movies do head to DVD and Blu-ray. Marriage Story is just one that comes to mind, but there have been others like The Irishman.

One thing that may stop the release is the negative feedback about it. It’s possible that everyone will agree that this is a movie that isn’t worth bringing to DVD and Blu-ray, so will always just be on Netflix. It’s something we’ll keep an eye on.
