Is Hunters renewed for Season 2?
There are times that you’ll forget all about the fate of some Amazon shows because news between the seasons is so quiet. Is Hunters Season 2 happening?
The 2020 TV show immediately gained mixed reviews, especially when it came to the decision to make up stories about the people in the Nazi concentration camps. However, that didn’t stop the questions that the end of the first season that made us need more.
Set in 1977, the series follows a group of Nazi hunters who realize that the Nazis are trying to bring about the Fourth Reich. That’s the last thing they’re going to let happen.
After the death of his grandmother, Jonah Heidelbaum is brought into the team by the leader of the group, Meyer Offerman. Jonah has to figure out if he wants to be part of this group and if he’s even willing to do what it takes to take down the Nazis.
While all this happens, there’s an FBI agent trying to figure out who is killing a bunch of people who turned out to be Nazis.
Has Hunters been renewed?
It took some time after the Season 1 finale. In fact, I started to worry that Amazon was going to cancel the series. However, in the end, Amazon made the decision to renew the Nazi-hunting series for a second season.
Will there be a Season 2 of Hunters?
Yes, Hunters Season 2 is officially happening. We also know that Jennifer Jason Leigh is going to star in the show as a new person on the side of the Nazi-hunting group. We don’t know if Al Pacino is going to return to the series, though.
When does the new season of Hunters start?
We don’t know much about when the season is likely to start. Usually, it takes 14 to 18 months between Amazon seasons, but there are times that the length is extended. This is one of those times, partly due to the pandemic, which put filming on hold and means episodes take longer to film than normal due to the extra protocols needed.
The first season debuted in February 2020. We could see Season 2 before the end of the year, but it’s looking more like 2022.
