The Invincible Season 1 finale made it very clear we need more. Here’s everything we know about Invincible Season 2 right now.

There’s no doubt that the series has reignited the interest in the comic book series that is now 20 years old. And with the excellent storytelling and creativity into the series, we certainly want more.

Invincible came at a time when we needed it the most. It’s fun but it is definitely on the violent side. This is not an animated series for the kids. That being said, it’s entertaining and will take your mind off the events happening in the world today.

There is some excellent news. Amazon has confirmed Invincible Season 2. In fact, the streamer has gone one step further and confirmed Season 3 at the same time, according to Deadline.

Invincible Season 2 release date

While the season has been confirmed, there isn’t a release date just yet. Most Amazon shows take 14–18 months between seasons, and that’s likely the case here. The good thing about animation is that a lot can be done from home if necessary, so the pandemic doesn’t cause too many issues.

We’re potentially looking at June 2022 to October 2022 as a premiere date.

We’ll probably see a hybrid release format again as Amazon is having some success with that style. Look out for the first three episodes to drop at once with a weekly release following that.

Invincible Season 2 cast

We’ll likely see Steven Yeun and J.K. Simmons return as Mark Grayson/Invincible and Omni-Man respectively. Sandra Oh will likely return to voice Debbie Grayson.

From there, it’s going to depend on which storylines Robert Kirkman is going to want to tell. There are certainly many superheroes we’d love to see again, along with the actors returning to voice the characters.

Considering the behind-the-scenes connection to The Walking Dead, we’ll likely see more of the actors come to voice various characters.

Invincible Season 2 trailer

There isn’t a trailer just yet. This isn’t going to arrive until about a month or two before the release date. In fact, it will likely share the release date.

We’ll be sure to bring it when we have it.

Invincible Season 2 synopsis

The synopsis isn’t known. There’s plenty of source material for Kirkman and his team to work with, so we’re not that worried about what’s to come! All we know is we need it.
