When will Invincible Season 2 come to Amazon Prime Video?

There are just a few episodes of Invincible Season 1 left. Now you’ll want to know when Invincible Season 2 will be available to stream.

We’ll start with some bad news, first. Amazon hasn’t officially confirmed that Invincible Season 2 will happen yet.

We’re expecting a renewal shortly after the season finale at the end of this month. It could come shortly before it. This is a series that has been well received for the most part, with most of the criticism about changing some of the comic book storylines.

If the show is renewed, when will it come out on Amazon Prime Video? Here’s what we know so far.

When could Invincible Season 2 come to Amazon Prime Video?

There’s no hard or fast rule when it comes to Amazon releases. While many of them are released within 14 to 18 months, there are some that only take 12 months and others that will take two years. It all depends on how long it takes to get the quality content.

The good thing about Invincible is that the majority of work can be done at home. There’s little need to worry about the pandemic worsening to the point of production shutting down. Animation was able to find a way to run. This could help reduce time to come to Amazon.

We’re probably looking at around June 2022 as a release date, following the 14-month pattern. That’s if the show is renewed right away. We could be waiting closer to the end of 2022, but hopefully, that’s not the case.

While there are some deviations from the comics, there is still plenty of content to follow. There’s no need to worry about source material for this.
