What is The Umbrella Academy about?

If you haven’t seen the Netflix series, it’s certainly one worth checking out. The series is based on a graphic novel series of the same name by Gerard Way, with illustrations by Gabriel Bá.

It follows seven adopted siblings who have special abilities. Well, six of them do. The seventh is just normal—at least, that’s what she thinks.

They were all adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a man who was interested in their stories. They were among a large group of babies all born on the same day. Their mothers weren’t even pregnant at the start of the day, piquing a lot of interest.

After the death of their father, the siblings will need to come together to save the world from the apocalypse. Is it possible?
