Jennifer Jason Leigh joins Hunters Season 2 as a series regular
Hunters Season 2 has landed a new lead in the form of Jennifer Jason Leigh. Who will she play, and what can we expect in the new season?
We haven’t got the chance to find out much about Hunters Season 2 since it was confirmed. We don’t even know if Al Pacino’s character will somehow return—it’s unlikely based on the ending to Season 1, but you never know!
Amazon has kept the show’s plot tightly underwraps. Anything about filming has been kept a secret. We can make suggestions based on the way the first season ended, but that’s about it. One thing we can’t figure out is how the group will find out that Joe is in Argentina with Hitler himself!
However, Deadline has announced that Oscar nominee Jennifer Jason Leigh is joining Hunters Season 2. She’ll be joining as a series regular.
Who will Jennifer Jason Leigh play on Hunters Season 2?
How much do we get to know? Very little!
Leigh will play a Nazi hunter called Chava. She’ll work with Logan Lerman and the rest of the group, which has reduced in size with Joe walking away (and then being captured) and not all members making it through the first season alive.
At least knowing she’s a Nazi hunter means we can root for her. At least, it seems like we can. We have to remember that Pacino’s character turned out to be something other than he claimed to be.
Will the series do that to us again? Won’t we all be expecting it? It’s likely that Chava is a hunter for definitely, but what pulls her into the hunt? And how does she end up teaming up with the others? Does she know that Hitler is still alive and in hiding in Argentina?
