Them: Covenant and more streaming on Amazon Prime Video this week

The first of the three Amazon Originals is streaming on Amazon Prime Video this week. Here’s a look at everything you can watch.

There are eight titles joining Amazon Prime Video this week, April 5 to 9, 2021. If you need more content, you can turn your attention to IMDb TV, where there are two other titles to watch.

The biggest addition of the week has to be Them: Covenant, the first season of Lena Waithe and Little Marvin’s anthology horror series. The show is very much like Us and Get Out, and while it focuses on a Black family moving into an all-white neighborhood in the 1950s, it’s more than just the social aspects of the time.

Behind closed doors, the family should feel safe, right? What happens when there’s something supernatural going on in the house?

If horror isn’t your thing, you’ll want to look at other content that’s arriving. The 2010 movie Trollhunter is one of the additions during the week. It follows three students who head to the wilderness to figure out what’s killing bears in Norway.

When they meet the hunter in charge of the case, they find out that he’s more than just a normal hunter. He’s a troll hunter.

For those who like a rom-com, Girl from Monaco is arriving on the streamer on Wednesday, April 7. It follows a lawyer who visits Monte Carlo to defend an old woman. While there, he falls in love with his employer’s bodyguard’s ex-lover. Things are about to get complicated.

When it comes to the free streaming service, IMDb TV, there are a couple of other options to watch. The 2016 movie Bleed for This is the first addition, which sees boxer Vinny Pazienza paralyzed after a car accident. When he is determined to fight again, he hires a trainer for one last battle.

Russell Crowe stars in Noah, also joining IMDb TV this week. He plays the titual character, a pious man who is given a great task by God. You’ve heard it all before. He has to find two of every animal, build an arc, and allow an angry God to destroy the rest of humanity and wildlife.
