With the big selection of movies and TV shows on Amazon and Amazon Channels on April 1, the weekend itself is quiet. What’s streaming on Amazon this weekend, April 3–4, 2021?

It shouldn’t be all that surprising that the weekend is quiet when it comes to new content. Amazon has put the focus on releasing content during the week recently, giving viewers time to catch up on new episodes and releases during the weekend.

However, there is something to look forward to on Saturday, April 3. The 2016 movie Blair Witch is coming to Amazon Prime Video.

The story follows on from the original The Blair Witch Project. A young man wants to find out what happened to his sister 17 years ago, a disappearance that everyone believes was linked to the Blair Witch. He and his friends walk through the Black Hills Forest in Maryland, and they soon realize that maybe the legends of the Blair Witch are real. Can they make it out alive unlike those who came before them?

You’ll also have the chance to catch up on releases from Friday, April 2. Unhinged starring Russell Crowe is available to stream, and there’s a new episode of Invincible available.

What’s streaming on Amazon Channels this weekend?

With Amazon Prime Video, you can sign up for various Amazon Channels. There are various TV shows and movies dropping throughout the weekend. However, it is still on the quieter side due to the April 1 drop only happening just a few days ago. There’s a lot to work through there.

If you’re looking for the newest content, you’ll want to turn to HBO on Saturday, April 3. Ted is available to stream. The movie follows a man whose best friend is a talking teddy bear. Yes, really. And yes, they get up to a lot of mischief and trouble. It’s not for children!

On Sunday, April 4, new episodes of The Gloaming and Men in Kilts air on STARZ. The former is a gritty crime drama that certainly has us on the edges of our seats. The latter is a fun docuseries with Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish taking fans on a journey around Scotland.

Shameless continues on SHOWTIME. Including this episode, there are just two left of the series! Now is a good time to catch up on what you’ve missed.
