When you see an animated superhero series, you naturally want to watch it with your kids. Invincible on Amazon is one of those shows. What is the Invincible age rating?

Amazon continues to venture into the world of superheroes with the latest animated series. The first three episodes of Invincible dropped on Amazon Prime Video on March 26, with a new episode each week.

I know what you’re thinking: it’s an animated series so it must be suitable for children. Isn’t that usually the case?

While a lot of animated Amazon shows are suitable for the younger members of the family, that’s not the case here. This show was never created for youngsters in mind.

What is the Invincible age rating?

The official rating on Amazon Prime Video is TV-MA in the United States. In Canada, it’s 18+. In the UK and Australia, it’s 18. There are many other countries where the minimum age is considered 18.

Invincible is definitely a series for adults. It’s full of violence and gore. While it is all animated, there are still elements that are too much for children. Think of it as an animated version of The Boys.

Of course, this is going to depend on your children, their maturity, and you as a parent. What about a 16- or 17-year-old who has watched The Boys? You have the final say over whether your children watch something or not.

The best thing to do as a parent is to watch the series yourself. With only three episodes out right now, it’s a quick binge-watch, and it will be perfect to help you determine if this is something suitable for your own children.
