iZombie’s Malcolm Goodwin and more join Amazon’s Reacher

Amazon’s Reacher is gaining more cast members. Malcolm Goodwin is among the three new actors joining Alan Ritchson in the upcoming series.

The Jack Reacher series was ordered more than a year ago and we’re only just getting casting announcements. The pandemic has a lot to answer for here, but at least the series is still moving forward.

After Alan Ritchson was announced as the lead for the series, all eyes were on who would join him. Deadline reports three more actors joining the show. One of those is iZombie‘s Malcolm Goodwin.

Willa Fitzgerald from Scream and Chris Webster from Most Dangerous Game are also joining the show. All three will be series regulars on the Amazon Original Series.

Who will the new cast members play on Reacher?

How much do we know about the three new additions? The first season will follow The Killing Floor, and we know who the three will play with a bit of a description for their characters.

Goodwin will take on the roles of Chief Detective Oscar Finlay. He’s a Harvard graduate and loves to wear tweed. He took a job in the Margrave Police Department when he relocated to the small town, but why did he move?

Fitzgerald will play Roscoe Conklin, born and raised in Margrave. She’s smart and works as a police officer with the Margrave PD. Expect plenty of interaction with Goodwin.

Then there’s Webster who will play the spoiled son of a businessman, KJ. KJ is sure that everyone and everything belongs to him—spoiled, remember!—and that includes Roscoe.

There is still no potential premiere date for the series just that. That’s not surprising as casting is still taking place and filming is only just getting started. Hopefully, we’ll see Reacher arrive in 2022.
