Is Minari on Amazon Prime Video?
Minari is among the list of Oscar nominations for 2021. You’ll likely want to check out the movie to see what it’s like, but is it on Amazon Prime Video?
Minari has landed six Oscar nominations, making history in some categories. One of those is Yuen, becoming the first (joint with Riz Ahmed) Asian to be nominated for Best Actor. Yuh-Jung Youn landed a nomination for Best Supporting Actress, and Lee Isaac Chung is nominated for Best Directing.
It’s certainly a movie you’re going to want to check out. It touches on social problems, especially when it comes to immigration.
The question for many is where to stream it. Can you watch Minari on Amazon Prime Video? There’s a little bit of bad news.
Minari isn’t on a streaming service yet
As of right now, you can’t find Minari on a streaming platform. It’s not available to watch for free, which isn’t all that surprising. It is an A24 movie, and they tend to head to Amazon Prime Video a year after the theatrical release. There are times Netflix gets the rights instead.
Of course, things have been thrown off with the pandemic, but we’re not looking at the movie coming to streaming until around February 2022. The movie was only released on Feb. 26 of this year!
The good news is you can still watch it before the Academy Awards. It’s available to rent on Digital, which means you can get it on Amazon Video.
