Will Raya and the Last Dragon come to Amazon Prime Video?

Raya and the Last Dragon is now available to stream on Disney Plus with Premier Access. Will you be able to watch it on Amazon Prime Video?

At this moment in time, there is only one way to watch Raya and the Last Dragon. It is only available with the Premier Access addition with your Disney Plus subscription. Eventually, like Mulan, it will come to Disney Plus for all subscribers, but that’s a few months away.

What about other streaming platforms? Is there a chance that the Disney movie will head to Amazon Prime Video?

This is unlikely but not completely out of the question. While Raya and the Last Dragon is a Disney movie, it’s not uncommon for Disney to license out some movies to other streaming platforms. This is usually through a non-exclusive license, allowing Disney to keep the movies on Disney Plus at the same time.

Could Raya and the Last Dragon come to Amazon Prime Video?

It’s unlikely that Amazon will get the movie any time soon. We’re talking years down the line. And it’s usually somewhere like STARZ that gets the movie, so you’ll be looking at Amazon Channels to watch it.

However, never say “never.” There is a slim chance the movie will come to Amazon for Prime members in the future.

Before then, you’ll be able to get the movie on Amazon Video. A Digital release is going to happen, and that could be as early as April 2021 based on when Mulan came to Digital. It’s something we’ll certainly keep an eye on to make sure you watch it in the way you want.

For now, the movie is only available via Disney Plus. That’s the way it will stay for some time.
